We own an older home, that had no HVAV when purchased. Called Hixon, and set up appointment to receive quote for doing a complete install. To make a long story short. Mitch an Kevin came out, inspected everything and we received a quote the same day. An appointment was set up and Richard (the owner) with Kevin came over and worked nonstop from early A.M till late afternoon for 2 1/2 days. These guys are amazing. Richard worked as hard as any other employee even though he owns the company. Kevin was beyond words. He was in the small crawl space for 98% of the time running and hooking up ductwork Richard was both in the house cutting holes for the registers and under the house with Kevin helping him. I could go on. But let me add this in closing. These guys (every single one affiliated with Hixon) are the best and most trustworthy bunch of workers I have ever seen. Every piece of work was explained, and the quote was if it was set in stone. I will never call on any other HVAC company for I am sold with Hixon.

I am very happy with my experience with Hixon Heating & Air. Mitch came out and gave me a quote. Days later, I had questions, multiple times, and Mitch happily asked the owner, and got back with me with the answers.The install was smooth and efficient. Other companies would have taken some of the attic entry apart in order to get the system up in the attic, but Kevin and Richard took a different route, and disassembled then reassembled the system once they got it up into the attic, and then installed it. They confidently thought and acted outside of the box. I didn’t have any repair or clean-up work. Richard and Kevin have many years of experience, and care about the quality of their install job and your experience. Richard went above and beyond with helping with new thermostat too! I am very fortunate that I found them. An HVAC system and the install is very expensive and important, so making a wise choice is imperative.

Had some issues with the A/C not functioning correctly. Richard diagnosed and repaired the issue then took time to ensure other common issues with the HVAC system were good. Appreciate the effort to catch other issues before possibly losing A/C in the summer.

I called Hixon at 3:30pm on a Sunday. By 5:30pm, their tech Mitch was at my front door. He could not have been more professional and efficient. He helped to get on of our AC units blowing cold again, and even gave me some valuable pointers on how to help mitigate the problem myself in the future. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need, and will definitely be retaining their services in the future when the time comes to upgrade both of our units.

After the home warranty people took a day to come back and say they couldn't find a good A/C repair company and enduring 100 degree temperatures I reached out to Hixon and not only did they have someone highly skilled to fix the problem, they did it in a few hours for a great value. They have a customer for life.
